Situated in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, Hopelands - originally founded as a PNEU school over 40 years ago - operates today as a registered charity.
Hopelands is a small, happy school with a friendly, family atmosphere; an excellent academic record, feeding a wide variety of independent and state schools. We pride ourselves on gaining places for pupils at schools of their first choice - frequently with Exhibitions and Scholarships.
Pupils are prepared for: 11+ Common Entrance and Scholarship Examinations to Public Schools; Cheltenham, Gloucester and Stroud Grammar School Entry.
Small classes and qualified staff are guaranteed. All lessons during the school day are inclusive of fees and include: Science, French, Music, Speech and Drama, Art, Swimming, Games and Ballet - all taught by specialist teachers. Pupils leave computer literate and enjoy a variety of educational excursions and activities.
Swimming takes place throughout the year in the excellent pool at Dursley; Stroud Leisure Centre and adjacent College grounds are used for Games lessons: Netball, Rounders, Tennis, Football and Cricket.
